4 medals on the first day of the “Victory Cup”

The “Victory Cup” wrestling tournament kicked off on April 12 in Antalya, Türkiye.

On the first day of the traditional U17 competition, four of our wrestlers reached the podium.

In freestyle wrestling, Ibrahim Hasanov (51 kg) defeated all his opponents to claim the gold medal.

Our Greco-Roman wrestlers won a full set of medals on the opening day. In the 51 kg weight category, Huseyn Mustafazade finished second, while Ilkin Gurbanov took third place. Ali Mammadov (71 kg), who gave no chance to his opponents, became the champion.
