Wrestling stars back on stage

Today, famous figures of wrestling met with fans in an event jointly organized by the National Olympic Committee and the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, with support from “Ganjlik Mall” and “Go Sport.”

The event, held at the Ganjlik Mall shopping center, featured Olympic medalist, three-time World and four-time European champion Haji Aliyev; Olympic medalist, World and European champion Rasul Chunayev; Olympic and World medalist, three-time European champion Hasrat Jafarov; and European medalist, U23 World champion Jale Aliyeva.

They spoke about the achievements in their careers and shared advice with teenagers and young athletes.

The event continued with quizzes and competitions. After awarding the winners, an autograph session took place. The wrestling stars gave fans signed photos and posed for commemorative pictures.
