World champion undergoes surgery

Member of the national Greco-Roman wrestling team, world and European champion Ulvu Ganizade has undergone surgery.

The wrestler successfully had shoulder surgery and is expected to resume individual training in one month, while returning to team training in three months. Ganizade could make his competitive return in four to six months.

We wish Ulvu a speedy recovery and hope he returns to the wrestling mat stronger than ever.
