U17 World championships medals unveiled

The medals for the U17 World Wrestling Championships, which will be held in Baku, have been unveiled.

The championship medals feature a distinctive design. Traditional Azerbaijani carpet motifs, reflecting the country’s rich cultural heritage, are incorporated along the edges of the medals. These elements not only highlight the historical and cultural values of Azerbaijan as the host nation, but also give the medals a unique and elegant appearance.

A total of 120 medals, each measuring 10 centimeters in diameter, have been produced for the championships. A total of 30 gold, 30 silver and 60 bronze medals will be awarded throughout the competition.

The U17 World Wrestling Championships will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena from July 27 to August 2, bringing together nearly 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries.
