Two of our wrestlers distinguished themselves in Russia

An international freestyle wrestling tournament was held in the Russian city of Vladikavkaz.

Several members of the national team participated under the leadership of coach Əşrəf Əliyev in the competition called the “Khadartsev Brothers Cup.”

Two of them reached the podium. Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg) and Ağanəzər Novruzov (74 kg) won silver medals.

At the tournament, first-class referee Elman Ismayilov officiated the matches.
