The wrestling Hall of Qazakh stadium to undergo major renovation

Today, the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF), the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (ATUSOA), and “Arkoz Qazakh Cement Plant” LLC signed a memorandum.
The event took place in Qazakh district, which has been designated the 2026 Sports Capital, and was attended by AWF Secretary General Parvin Piriyev, Acting Director of ATUSOA Fikrat Hajiyev, and Director of “Arkoz Qazakh Cement Plant” LLC Murat Caglayan, who together signed the tripartite cooperation agreement.
According to the agreement, the wrestling hall of Qazakh city stadium will undergo a major renovation and will be reopened as a regional wrestling center.
The memorandum also outlines joint initiatives to support the development of sports infrastructure in the region, organize sporting events, tournaments, and social projects, involve plant employees, trade union members, and their families in sports activities while promoting a healthy lifestyle, implement joint initiatives to engage youth in sports within the framework of corporate social responsibility, provide mutual support in information and publicity, and carry out other joint projects to strengthen relations between the parties.
