The Greco-Roman wrestling competition has started at the ranking tournament

The “Muhamet Malo” tournament continues in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

On the third day of the ranking tournament, three members of the national Greco-Roman wrestling team competed.

Davud Mammadov (77 kg) lost to Serbia’s Aleksa Ilic in the round of 16 on criteria (5–5), according to the last point rule.

Lachin Valiyev (87 kg) lost 1–9 to Russia’s Alan Ostaev in the round of 16 and was defeated 1–3 by Kyrgyzstan’s Asan Zhanishov in the repechage bout.

Competing in the same weight category, Islam Abbasov lost 1–3 to Russia’s Islam Aliyev in the round of 16.
