The European Challenge for our beach wrestlers

Tomorrow, the European Championship in beach wrestling for cadets (U15, U17) and juniors (U20) will commence in Poreč, Croatia.

The two-day competition will feature cadets on the first day and juniors on the second day, with champions being determined in their respective categories.

Our country will compete in the U17 age group at the continental championship. Under the guidance of head coach Oyan Nazariani, Rashid Nazarov (60 kg), Ayxan Guliyev, Ruslan Valiyev (both 70 kg), and Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) will aim for success.

The tournament, which will be held at Laguna Beach, will begin at 12:00 Baku time. The group stage matches will take place during the daytime session, while the medal bouts are scheduled to start at 19:00.

At the European Championship, Category I-S referee Sadi Guliyev will oversee the proceedings and ensure fairness.
