Our wrestlers won 5 medals in Estonia

The “Tallinn Open” tournament among cadet wrestlers was held in Estonia.

In the traditional competition, which featured representatives from 41 countries, 7 wrestlers competed under the leadership of U17 national team head coach Maria Stadnik and coach Solmaz Adilova, 5 of whom reached the podium.

Fatima Bayramova (53 kg) became champion by winning all 7 of her matches. Nazrin Ahmadli (49 kg), Rana Nuriyeva (61 kg), and Simura Abdullayeva (69 kg) won silver medals, while Khadija Gurbanzade (49 kg) claimed a bronze medal.

It should be noted that after the competition, our team will participate in an international training camp to be held in Tallinn. The training process will continue until April 1. Before the U17 European Championship, our national team will hold its final training camp in Baku.
