Our team holds training camp in Hungary

The national women’s wrestling team has started a training camp in Hungary.

The preparation process began on February 9 in the city of Tatabanya. Wrestlers from Hungary, Lithuania, Germany, Finland, Japan, Russia, Brazil, Türkiye, Estonia, Italy, and Romania are also participating. The camp focuses mainly on tactical and technical work. Under the guidance of assistant head coach Toğrul Asgerov and senior coach Agahuseyn Mustafayev, the Azerbaijani team includes Esmer Jankurtaran, Elnura Mammadova (both 50 kg), Nargiz Samedova (53 kg), Jala Aliyeva (57 kg), Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg), Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg), Birgul Soltanova (68 kg), and Zahra Karimzade (72 kg).

The training camp will continue until February 21.
