Our national team prepares for the World Series Final

Azerbaijan’s beach wrestling national team began a training camp focused on general and specific preparation today at the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation’s training base.

The camp will continue until September 23. Under the guidance of head coach Oyan Nazariani and coach Ibrahim Yusubov, the following wrestlers will take part: Rubail Ibrahimli, Tunar Guliyev, Huseyn Sevdimov (all 70 kg), Vusal Aliyev, Sahib Dadashov, Nihad Suleymanli (all 80 kg), Ashraf AShirov, Elgun Karimli (both 90 kg), and Jamal Feyziyev (+90 kg).

It should be noted that the training camp is part of the team’s preparations for the final stage of the World Series, which will be held in Katerini, Greece, on September 26–27. The young wrestlers included in the training process are preparing for the Summer Youth Olympic Games, which will be held in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, in November.
