Our Greco-Roman wrestlers are going to Tyumen

From September 24 to 25, an international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament will be held in the city of Tyumen, Russia.

The competition, organized in honor of world and European champion, Olympic medalist Vladimir Cheboksarov, will feature teams from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Our country will be represented at this traditional tournament under the leadership of head coach Aleksandr Tarakanov and coach Kamran Mammadov by Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Farid Bakhishli (both 63 kg), Ulvi Ganizade, Faig Safarli (both 72 kg), and Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg). Our team will depart for Russia tomorrow.
