Neftchi’s wrestling hall reopened

The wrestling hall of the “Neftchi” Sports Club has been put into operation again.

The Greco-Roman wrestling hall of the club located in the Lokbatan settlement has been thoroughly renovated and resumed its activities. The hall, which was provided with inventory by the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF), was inspected.

AWF Executive Committee member, Olympic champion Namig Abdullayev, senior coach of the U-20 national freestyle wrestling team Arif Abdullayev, senior coach of the Greco-Roman wrestling team Rovshan Bayramov and senior coach of the U-17 national freestyle wrestling team Asgarkhan Novruzov spoke and highly appreciated the conditions created here and wished that champions would grow in this hall in the future.

It should be noted that about 25 athletes are engaged in Greco-Roman wrestling in this section under the leadership of coach Khayyam Abdullayev. In the future, a major renovation of the freestyle wrestling hall of the “Neftchi” Sports Club located in the same place is also planned.
