National wrestling teams undergo medical tests

Members of the Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling national teams underwent tests across various parameters at the Sports Medical Research Laboratory located at the Sports Academy, which is equipped with the most modern devices.

Using specialized equipment, indicators of strength and endurance, oxygen efficiency, the percentage of physical activity and body fat, balance ability, and the development of muscle mass were analyzed. Details important for sports performance were measured and assessed using the devices, and the coaching staff was provided with practical information regarding the current physical condition of each athlete.

In addition to all this, the athletes also underwent psychological tests. The psychological testing evaluates the weak points of the athletes.

It should be noted that conducting tests in this laboratory makes it possible to optimally analyze each national team member’s body, establish diagnoses, and take appropriate steps to eliminate shortcomings identified during training camps.
