National team members Introduced to new wrestling rules

The training camp of the national Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling teams in Goygol is ongoing.

As part of the preparation process, the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation organized a practical seminar for national team members. During the seminar, Category I-S referee Asif Shiraliyev explained the new decisions adopted by United World Wrestling (UWW). He also shared his recommendations regarding athletes’ behavior on the mat, communication with referees, and the observance of ethical standards.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation will organize similar educational events for national teams of other age groups as well.
