National team head coach conducted training course in Vietnam

From June 2 to 7, the “Level 2 Coaching Course and Beach Wrestling Coaching Course” was organized in Da Nang, Vietnam, within the framework of cooperation between the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the United World Wrestling (UWW).
The courses were conducted by Bulgarian specialist Georgi Sredkov, as well as Oyan Nazariani, head coach of the national team, who serves as an IOC observer, a UWW expert in coaching education, and a member of the UWW Beach Wrestling Committee.
During the six-day course, participants received theoretical and practical instruction on modern wrestling coaching methods. As part of the program, UWW educational materials and methodological resources were studied in detail, while advanced approaches to organizing training sessions and preparing athletes were shared with the participants. At the conclusion of the course, the attendees were awarded relevant certificates.
It should be noted that the event was aimed at enhancing coaches’ professional knowledge and skills, promoting the exchange of international experience, and contributing to the development of the sport of wrestling.
