Joint training camp with the Turkish national team in Bursa

Our U20 national freestyle wrestling team is starting its next training camp.

Beginning tomorrow, our team will start preparations in Bursa together with the Turkish national team. The camp, which will last for 15 days, will mainly focus on tactical and technical training sessions.

Under the leadership of head coach Arif Abdullayev, and coaches Rovshan Hajiyev, Nazim Alijanov, and Ashraf Aliyev, 11 wrestlers – Muhammad Ismayilov (57 kg), Jamal Abbasov (61 kg), Bashir Verdiyev (65 kg), Haji Karimov (70 kg), Nurlan Agazade (74 kg), Eljan Ismayilzade, Muradkhan Omarov (both 79 kg), Muhammad Abbaszade (86 kg), Huseyn Mammadtaghizade (92 kg), Farhad Suleymanli (97 kg), and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) – have been involved in the preparation process.

After the camp, our national team will travel to Antalya to participate in the “Champions” tournament, which will be held on April 17–19.
