Jala Aliyeva: “My Goal was to become champion.”

European bronze medalist in women’s wrestling Jala Aliyeva (57 kg) shared her impressions:

“We had prepared very strongly for this competition. My goal was to become champion. Last year, I was also unable to continue the match because I got injured in the semifinal. This time, I wanted to become champion. Unfortunately, it did not happen. I made certain mistakes. I will work on those mistakes and do the best I can.”
