Jabrayil Hajiyev: “I wanted to become champion”

European freestyle wrestling bronze medalist Jabrayil Hajiyev (79 kg) shared his impressions:

“Thank God, we performed well as a team. We had a good training camp in Kislovodsk. Our final preparation was in Baku. All my coaches were with me. This was my second appearance at the senior European Championships. Of course, I wanted to become champion. This time I finished in third place. God willing, next year I will prepare even better and turn this medal into gold. The World Championships are coming up, and I will prepare well for that as well.”
