Two-time European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), shared his impressions:

“During this transition period of mine, it was more difficult to defend the title. After becoming European champion last year, I suffered consecutive serious injuries. Both of my championships are very valuable to me. Of course, when you compete as a champion, the responsibility is greater. Hasrat Jafarov became a four-time European champion today.
