Freestyle wrestlers in a traditional tournament

Tomorrow, the Alexander Medved Memorial Tournament will kick off in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

Members of our national freestyle wrestling team will participate in this traditional competition, which will last for two days.

Under the leadership of head coach Xetaq Qazyumov, senior coach Cəbrayıl Həsənov, and coaches Taymuraz Kokoyev and Şərif Şərifov, the following wrestlers will compete: Vasif Baghirov (57 kg), Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg), Rashid Babazadeh, Ruslan Abdullayev (both 65 kg), Ali Rahimzadeh, Magomed-Bashir Khaniev (both 70 kg), Cəbrayıl Gajiyev (74 kg), Orkhan Abasov, Ali Tsokayev (both 79 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Abubakr Abakarov, Abduljalil Shabanov, Shamil Zubairov (all 92 kg), Aslan Abakarov (97 kg).
