Final Preparations for the European Championship Underway

The national wrestling teams are continuing their preparations for the upcoming European Championship.

Our freestyle wrestling team is currently holding a training camp in Quba with an expanded squad. The training session, which began on March 19, will run until April 2. The camp is being held at the Quba Olympic Sports Complex and includes participation from the youth national team as well.

Meanwhile, the Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling teams are making their final preparations in Baku at the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation’s training base. The women’s training started on March 22 and will conclude on April 7, while the Greco-Roman wrestlers began their camp today and will continue until April 9.

It’s worth noting that the European Championship will take place in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, from April 7 to 13.
