Female wrestlers familiarized with the new rules

The training camp of the national women’s wrestling team in Baku is ongoing.

As part of the preparation process, the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation organized a practical seminar for members of the national team. During the seminar, the Chairman of the Referees Committee, UWW Category I-S referee Asif Shiraliyev, explained the newly adopted decisions of United World Wrestling (UWW). He also shared his recommendations regarding athletes’ conduct on the mat, communication with referees, and the observance of ethical standards.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation plans to organize similar educational events for national teams in other age categories as well.
