Bilateral memoranda of understanding signed with Wrestling Federations of Türkiye, Kazakhstan and Morocco

As part of the U17 World Wrestling Championships being held in Baku, bilateral Memoranda of Understanding were signed between the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation and the Wrestling Federations of Türkiye, Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Morocco.

The signed memoranda will serve to strengthen institutional ties between the federations, promote the sustainable development of wrestling and contribute to improving sporting achievements.

The documents provide for the organization of joint training camps for national teams, expanded opportunities to participate in international competitions, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise in coaching, refereeing and other areas.

The cooperation will also make an important contribution to developing long-term and effective relations among the partner federations, promoting wrestling at the international level, improving the preparation process of Azerbaijani wrestlers and creating new development opportunities for them.

The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation considers expanding cooperation with international partners one of its priority areas in terms of advancing wrestling in the country, enhancing the professional preparation of athletes and ensuring the continued success of Azerbaijani wrestlers on the international stage.
