Beach wrestlers to be tested in Croatia

This week, the city of Poreč, Croatia, will host two international beach wrestling competitions.

The U17 European Championships will take place tomorrow. At the continental championship, under the leadership of head coach Oyan Nazariani, Alirza Heybatli, Elcan Hasanov (both 60 kg), Rashad Aliyev (70 kg), Elvin Hajiquliyev, Ruslan Valiyev (both 80 kg), Mohlat Gasimov, and Tural Eynullayev (90 kg) will aim for success.

On May 30–31, the senior wrestlers will step onto the sand. At the second stage of the Beach Wrestling World Series, Rubail Ibrahimli (70 kg), Sahib Dadashov (80 kg), Vusal Aliyev (80 kg), Ashraf Ashirov (90 kg), and Islam Ilyasov (+90 kg) will compete under the guidance of head coach Oyan Nazariani and Ibrahim Yusubov, who will make his debut at the event as a coach.

At both competitions, Category I-S referee Sadi Guliyev will officiate the matches.
