Azerbaijan Wrestling Championship to be held

The Azerbaijan Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling Championships will be held at the Baku Sports Palace from December 24 to 27.

The wrestlers who win medals in the competition, which will be organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will be included in the national teams. The championship will be officiated by referees invited from abroad, as well as local judges. The national champions in Greco-Roman wrestling will be determined on the first two days, and in freestyle wrestling on the last two days. Preliminary matches will start at 10:00 every day, and the matches for medals will start at 17:00. Entrance to the arena is free.

It should be noted that the final matches of the Azerbaijan Championship will be broadcast live on the CBC Sport channel.
