Azerbaijan wins seven medals at International Youth Wrestling Tournament in Rakvere, Estonia

An international youth tournament in Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling was held in Rakvere, Estonia. The competition, organized across three age groups, featured nearly 500 athletes from 19 countries.

Under the guidance of coaches Turaj Huseynli and Taleh Mammadov, seven Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers reached the podium.

In the U13 age group, Bakir Maharramli (35 kg) won the silver medal.

In the U15 category, Elmir Cherkezov (62 kg) and Isfahan Hasanov (85 kg) claimed silver medals, while Huseyn Mustafazade (52 kg) earned bronze.

In the U17 age group, Nihat Taghiyev (65 kg) became champion, and both Abdurrahman Huseynli (51 kg) and Mehdi Asgerli (60 kg) finished in third place.
