Azerbaijan Beach Wrestling Championship to Be Held

The Azerbaijan Beach Wrestling Championship will take place on July 16–17.

On the first day of the competition, winners will be determined among youth athletes born in 2009–2010. The following day, senior wrestlers will battle it out on the sand to determine the strongest contenders.

The tournament will be held at the Beach Arena, with preliminary matches starting at 10:00. Medal bouts will begin at 17:00.

The championship aims to help form the roster of the national beach wrestling team and serve as an early stage of preparation for upcoming events, including the Youth Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Dakar in 2026.
