The U-23 World Wrestling Championship continues in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

The winners in the last 5 weight categories in Greco-Roman wrestling have been determined.

Rashad Mammadov (55 kg) decisively defeated American William Sullivan (12:4), Colombian Christopher Aguilar (9:0), and Japanese Kohei Yamagiva (12:2) to reach the final. In the decisive match, Rashad lost to Iranian Ali Ahmadi with a score of 3:11 and finished the world championship with a silver medal.

For Ziya Babashov (63 kg), Polish wrestler Mairbek Salimov was insurmountable in the 1/8 finals, with a score of 0:8.

Although Khasay Hasanli (77 kg) defeated Armenian Matrik Petrosyan due to the quality of points (2:2), he lost in the 1/8 finals to German Samuel Beltscheidt with a score of 0:5. In the consolation matches, Hasanli triumphed over Belgian Ibrahim Tabayev (3:2) and Russian Ismail Barakhoev (5:3). Serkhan Mammadov (130 kg) was narrowly defeated by Belarusian Pavel Glinchuk in the 1/8 finals, with a score of 4:5.
