Ali Tsokayev: “The result turned out as I wanted”

European freestyle wrestling champion Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) shared his impressions:

“This was my debut at the senior European Championships. Last month I had won the U23 European Championships. I would like to express my gratitude to the coaching staff who worked with me and to everyone who supported me.

The final match did not start as I wanted. The bout was a bit tense and there was some pressure. But thank God, the result turned out as I wanted.

Next year, God willing, I am planning to compete in the 97 kg category.”
