Ali Tsokayev became European champion

The U23 European Wrestling Championship continues in the city of Zrenjanin, Serbia.
On the third day of the competition, medalists in the 61, 74, 86, 92, and 125 kg weight categories in freestyle wrestling were determined.
Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) lost in the final to Armenia’s Levik Mikayelyan by a narrow margin (1:2) and had to settle for a silver medal.
Aghanezer Novruzov (74 kg) lost to Georgia’s Saba Kobakhidze (4:7) in the bronze medal match, while Vasif Khudiyev (86 kg) was defeated by France’s Rakhim Magamadov (0:10).
Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) celebrated an early victory in the decisive match. Our representative defeated Turkey’s Fatih Altunbas with a score of 11:0 in the final and became the European champion.
Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) lost in the final to Russia’s Khabib Davudgadjiev (1:4) and claimed the silver medal.
