AGF officials inspected the Garadağli wrestling hall

Officials from the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation visited the Goranboy district.

They inspected the wrestling hall located at the Qaradağlı village secondary school. In this hall, which was equipped with inventory by the Federation, more than 80 juniors and youths are mastering the techniques of Greco-Roman wrestling. This school, which has produced Olympic medalist, two-time European champion, and world silver medalist Həsrət Cəfərov; world and European medalist Taleh Məmmədov; world and European youth medalist Əsgər Əlizadə; and Olympic champion among juniors Elman Muxtarov, holds a special place in Azerbaijani wrestling.

Həsrət Cəfərov also participated in the visit to Qaradağlı village, along with federation officials. The Chairman of the Wrestling Federation’s Referees Committee, Qərib Əliyev, and Həsrət Cəfərov gave speeches, offering their advice to the wrestlers, emphasizing the importance of discipline and fully following the instructions of their coaches. In turn, the wrestling coaches of the school, Aftandil Əliyev and Bayram Bayramov, along with the director of Qaradağlı village school, Rəşad Məmmədov, expressed their gratitude to the Federation for the attention and care provided, noting that this visit served as a great motivation for the children.

At the end of the visit, the wrestlers were presented with commemorative gifts from AGF, and a group photo was taken.
