AGF meets schoolchildren in Lachin and Shusha

On the second day of the “Wrestling in Karabakh” campaign, organized with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Olympic Committee, a visit was first paid to Lachin City Secondary School No. 2.

The event, held in the school’s assembly hall, was engaging and colorful. Renowned Azerbaijani wrestlers addressed the audience and shared their advice with the younger generation. This was followed by an educational quiz on wrestling, during which students who answered the questions most accurately were awarded prizes by AGF. In addition, performances by two students who sang songs added a special touch to the event.

Later, Rafiq Huseynov, Eldaniz Azizli, Mariya Stadnik, Rasul Chuneyev, and Oyan Nazariani answered questions from the students and signed autographs.

The wrestling stars also visited Shusha. At Shusha Fortress, the delegation met with local residents and took commemorative photos with them.

It should be noted that the campaign, which is part of the Great Return to Karabakh project, aims to boost motivation among residents living in the liberated territories, contribute to development in the spirit of national values, further popularize wrestling across the country, and promote awareness in this field.
