“Najad Hashemi Cup” Freestyle Wrestling Tournament Concludes in Behshahr, Iran

The “Najad Hashemi Cup” freestyle wrestling tournament wrapped up in Behshahr, Iran. On the final day of competition, winners were determined in the 61, 70, 79, 92, and 125 kg weight categories.

Three members of the U20 national team earned podium finishes. Anar Jafarli (92 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) secured silver medals, while Nurlan Aghazada (70 kg) claimed bronze.

In the team standings, Iran took first place, followed by India in second and Azerbaijan in third, with seven countries represented at the tournament.

As a reminder, on the first day of competition, Omar Gulmammadov (74 kg) won silver, and Sadraddin Hasanov (57 kg) took bronze.
