Our national team returns home from Vladikavkaz with eight medals

The Khadartsev Brothers Cup wrestling tournament was held on September 5–6 in Vladikavkaz, Russia.

More than 100 athletes from around 10 countries competed in the tournament, which was dedicated to the memory of freestyle wrestling legends Aslan and Makharbek Khadartsev.

Eight members of our national team stepped onto the podium at the traditional tournament, competing under the guidance of national team head coach Khetag Gazymov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, and coaches Taimuraz Kokoyev and Sharif Sharifov.

Ziraddin Bayramov (70kg), Arseniy Dzhioyev (86kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125kg) claimed gold medals. Osman Nurmagomedov (92kg) and Khetag Karsanov (125kg) finished second, while Jabrayil Hajiyev (79kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov (97kg) and Mukhamad Gantemirov (125kg) took third place.

Thus, our national team finished the memorial tournament with three gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
