The freestyle wrestling competition at the Olympiad has concluded

The Schoolchildren’s Republic Sports Olympiad, organized in Azerbaijan for the first time by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the support of the Baku City Circuit Operations Company and the relevant sports federations, is continuing.

On the third day of the competition, held at the Azerbaijan Technical University Sports Hall, the Greco-Roman wrestling events got underway. More than 100 young wrestlers competed in the 38 kg, 44 kg, 52 kg, 62 kg and 75 kg weight categories, with the finalists determined.

Based on the results of the three-day freestyle wrestling competition, the Ganja-Education-1 team took first place with 145 points. Gobustan finished second with 76 points, while the Gakh-ROIL team placed third with 73 points.
