AGF Technical and Refereeing Committee Expands Its activities

The next meeting of the Technical and Refereeing Committee of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF) has been held.

During the meeting, chaired by AGF Secretary General Parvin Piriyev, Kamran Guliyev, Head of the Federation’s Sports Department, and Nuraddin Rajabov, Senior Coach of the Greco-Roman Wrestling National Team, were elected as members of the Technical and Refereeing Committee.

Various issues related to the Committee’s activities were discussed in detail during the meeting. The participants exchanged views on organizing training courses and seminars aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of referees and coaches, holding league competitions among children and youth wrestlers, as well as further strengthening the material and technical infrastructure.

The proposals put forward during the meeting were reviewed, the Committee’s priorities for the upcoming period were determined, and relevant decisions were adopted regarding the preparation of a future action plan.

The importance of measures to be implemented for the development of the refereeing system, the improvement of competition standards, and the more effective management of wrestling across all age categories was also emphasized during the meeting.
