Rashad Mammadov (55 kg), a bronze medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling at the European Championship, shared his impressions:

“Two years ago, I won a silver medal at the European Championship. This year, I wanted to win the gold medal. It wasn’t meant to be. However, we still did not return home without a medal.

There are many competitions ahead. I believe that we will face Emin Sefershayev again. Hopefully, this defeat will not be repeated.

Eldeniz Azizli’s presence here was a great motivation for me. He had given me all his advice regarding the match.”
