Three Azerbaijani women wrestlers compete at the World Championships

The U23 World Championships Continue in Novi Sad, Serbia

Today, three Azerbaijani female wrestlers competed at the U23 World Championships.

In the 55 kg category, Gultakin Shirinova lost by fall to Kristelle Rodrigues (USA) in the qualification round.

In the 57 kg division, Nargiz Samadova defeated Yana Petrovic (Serbia) 4–2 but was eliminated in the Round of 16 by Emine Cakmak (Turkey) with a 0–10 score.

In the 65 kg category, Ruzanna Mammadova was defeated 2–5 by Eniko Elekes (Hungary) in the first round.
