National Champions Crowned in Youth Beach Wrestling

The Azerbaijan Youth Beach Wrestling Championship officially kicked off today.

Held at the Beach Arena, the first day of the competition featured wrestlers born in 2009–2010. A total of 71 athletes competed across four weight categories. Winners who reached the podium were awarded medals and diplomas by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The medalists will be included in the national beach wrestling team and will take part in the preparation process for the Summer Youth Olympic Games, scheduled to be held next year in Dakar, Senegal.
