Two of our wrestlers became champions in Kazakhstan

The traditional competition in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling was held in the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan.

More than 500 athletes from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan competed in the tournament held in memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Nurken Abdirov. Freestyle wrestlers representing our country performed successfully in the competition. Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg) and Abdulrahman Ibrahimov (65 kg) defeated all their rivals and rose to the highest step of the podium.
