3 medals in traditional competition

A memorial tournament for Shamil Umakhanov in freestyle wrestling was held in Khasavyurt, Dagestan.

Several members of our national team, led by coach Sharif Sharifov, also participated in the traditional competition. Three of them took the podium.

Islam Bazarganov (57 kg) won silver, and Timur Gulmagomedov (86 kg) and Aslan Abakarov (97 kg) won bronze medals.
