Two of our wrestlers are in the final of the world championship

The U-17 World Wrestling Championship continues in Amman, Jordan.
On the second day of the championship, Greco-Roman wrestlers in the 45, 51, 60, 71, and 92 kg weight categories joined the competition.
Shahid Nabiyev (45 kg) defeated Egypt’s Mohamed Eltayeb with a dominant score of 9-0 but lost 0-9 in the quarterfinals to Armenia’s Marat Atshemyan. Nabiyev will face Iran’s Ahmad Badraddin in a consolation match.
Turan Dashdamirov (51 kg) secured victories against India’s Sainat Pardi (5-1), America’s Domenik Munaretto (9-0), and Kazakhstan’s Yerassil Mussan (4-1), reaching the World Championship final for the second time in a row. Dashdamirov will face Kyrgyzstan’s Kutman Kalbayev in the decisive match.
Ayxan Javadov (60 kg) won a tense match against Ukraine’s Vadim Matros with a score of 4-3. He then outscored Kazakhstan’s Dosbol Shamil (2-2) based on the quality of points. Javadov defeated American world champion Paul Rani 2-1 in the semifinals to advance to the final, where he will compete for the title against Georgia’s Vakhtang Loluya.
Yusif Ahmadli (71 kg) defeated Turkey’s Kuzey Ildem with a dominant score of 8-0 but lost in the quarterfinals to Russia’s Vladislav Bırlya based on the last-point rule (1-1). Ahmadli will wrestle against America’s Jozef Jeter in a consolation match.
Saeed Pashayev (92 kg) won with a dominant score of 8-0 against Greece’s Nikolaos Kavananos but lost in the round of 16 by a fall to Turkey’s Süleyman Bakir.
