Three of our wrestlers became European third-place finishers.

The first medalists have been determined at the Wrestling European Championship held in Slovakia.
Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg) won convincingly against Ivaylo Tisov from Bulgaria with a 12-2 score, securing his second consecutive bronze medal at the European Championship.
Ali Rahimzadeh (65 kg) took control from the beginning of his match against Andrey Svirid from Ukraine and maintained his lead, winning 4-0. With this victory, Rahimzadeh claimed his fourth bronze medal at the European Championship.
Kenan Heybetov (70 kg) faced world and European champion Ismail Musukayev from Hungary for the third-place spot. Defeating his experienced and decorated opponent 5-2, Kenan claimed his first-ever podium finish at the senior European Championship.
Thus, our freestyle wrestling team concluded the second day of the competition with 3 bronze medals.
