The freestyle wrestling U20 national team of Azerbaijan has commenced its next training camp

The team will hold a general and specialized physical preparation camp at the Qakh Olympic Sports Complex from May 28 to June 11.

This training camp, aimed at preparing for the European Championship to be held in Caorle, Italy, from June 30 to July 6, is being conducted under the guidance of head coach Arif Abdullayev and coaches Rovshan Hajiyev and Nazim Alijanov.

The athletes participating in the camp are as follows:

57 kg: Vasif Baghirov, Sadraddin Hasanov, and Huseyn Huseynov

61 kg: Zamin Mammadov and Bashir Verdiyev

65 kg: Haji Karimov and Elcan Ismayilzade

70 kg: Ismayil Rahimli and Nurlan Agazade

74 kg: Omar Gulmammadov and Fazil Ismayilzade

79 kg: Muradxan Omarov

86 kg: Mohammad Abbaszade, Tabriz Bayramov, and Vasif Khudiyev

92 kg: Anar Jafarli and Shamistan Akhundov

97 kg: Revan Musayev

125 kg: Yusif Dursunov and Mukhammad Kantemirov

This intensive camp is a critical step in preparing the national team for the prestigious continental competition.
