Our Wrestler Becomes Champion in Turkey

The Yashar Dogu, Vehbi Emre, and Hamit Kaplan Memorial Tournament continues in Kocaeli, Turkey.

Today, the freestyle wrestling competitions began.

Ali Tsokayev made a successful debut in the 86 kg category. By defeating all his opponents, the member of our national team claimed the top spot on the podium. This victory increased the total number of medals won at the memorial tournament to eight. Yesterday, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals were won in Greco-Roman wrestling, while 1 silver and 2 bronze medals were secured in women’s wrestling.

On the final day of this traditional tournament, five members of the national team will take to the mat.
