Our National Team Prepares for Ranking Tournament in Batumi

The freestyle wrestling national team has commenced its next training camp.
After concluding their camp in Quba and taking a short break, the team departed for Batumi, Georgia, on June 8.
From June 8 to June 21, the team will train alongside squads from Georgia, Austria, Norway, and Ukraine.
Under the guidance of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, and coaches Taymuraz Kokoyev and Sharif Sharifov, 19 wrestlers are participating in the camp. The roster includes Islam Bazarganov (57 kg), Musa Agayev and Ruslan Abdullayev (both 65 kg), Kenan Heybatov and Zireddin Bayramov (both 70 kg), Aghanazar Novruzov, Turan Bayramov, and Magomed-Bashir Khaniev (all 74 kg), Farid Jabbarov, Jabrayil Hajiyev, and Sabuhi Amiraslanov (all 79 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov, Abubakr Abakarov, and Sadiq Mustafazade (all 92 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov and Zafer Aliyev (both 97 kg), as well as Giorgi Meshvildishvili and Khetag Karsanov (both 125 kg).
The camp serves as preparation for the final ranking tournament of the year, scheduled to take place in Hungary from July 17 to July 20.
