Our freestyle wrestling team became the third in the world

The U-23 World Wrestling Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, has concluded.

Our freestyle wrestling team finished the championship with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal. With a total of 100 points, the team placed third in the overall standings. Iran (158 points) secured first place, while Japan (102 points) took second.

It should be noted that within the national team, Magomed-Bashir Khaniev (70 kg) won gold, Ruslan Abdullayev (61 kg) and Arseniy Dzhioyev (86 kg) won silver, and Jabrayil Gadjiyev (74 kg) won bronze.
