Ali Aliyev Memorial Freestyle Wrestling Tournament Concludes in Kaspiysk, Russia

The 55th edition of the Ali Aliyev Memorial freestyle wrestling tournament, held in honor of the five-time world champion, has concluded in Kaspiysk, Russia. On the final day, medalists were determined in the 61, 70, 79, 92, and 125 kg weight categories.

National team member Jabrayil Gadjiyev made his debut in a new weight class. Competing in the 79 kg category, he secured a bronze medal in this traditional tournament.

As a reminder, Musa Aghayev (65 kg) also achieved the same result on the previous day.
