Final preparation for the World Cup

Our national wrestling teams are holding a training camp in Baku.

The women’s team began their training process on September 30, and the camp will last until October 21. The Greco-Roman wrestling team gathered on October 7, and their camp will last for 20 days. Meanwhile, the freestyle wrestlers will start their training process tomorrow.

The senior teams are conducting their practices at the training base of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. The camp, which emphasizes tactical and technical drills, is in preparation for the U-23 World Championship (October 21-27) and the Senior World Championship (October 28-31).

It should be noted that both competitions will take place in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
